Atiku is the Solution to Nigeria's Current Challenges - Prof Olatunbosun
Since leaving office in 2007, Atiku Abubakar, former vice president,
has continued to battle for the topmost seat in Nigeria to no avail
- As he is believed to be gearing up for another political battle in
2019, he seems to have won the heat of Professor Dupe Olatunbosun
A professor of agric-economist, Dupe Olatunbosun, has described Atiku
Abubakar, a former vice president, as the leader Nigeria needs at this
stage of its existence.
Atiku is served as vice president in the administration of Chief
Olusegun Obasanjo. Since then, he had failed in his ambition for the
presidency.
In 2015, the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) lost again
to President Muhammadu Buhari at the party’s primaries.

We learnt that he still has his eyes fixed on Aso Rock and has
continued this pursuit meeting stakeholders in the political project.
Olatunbosun said his argument in favour of Atiku is because he has the
relevant experience and intellectual consciousness to move the country
forward.
Reports quoted Olatunbosun as calling Atiku a very courageous man who
can take radical decisions that would benefit the country.
Olatunbosun praised Atiku for his commitment and contributions to
education adding that this puts him ahead in the search of a leader of
distinction.
According to him, Atiku possesses the capacity to reset Nigeria and help
it jump-start its economy for the good of all.
In a related development, the former vice president has called on
Nigerians to exercise patience with those in government till the end of
their administration and make better choices in subsequent elections.
In his Democracy Day message to Nigerians, the chieftain of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) described democracy as the best form of
government and said the citizens should take advantage of it to make
wise selections.
He also prayed for President Muhammadu Buhari’s quick recovery and
return to the country saying the worst form of democracy was better than
a military government.
